EDCI 62324 Content Practicum

Candidates in this module will participate in a 7-week practicum experience in which they will collaborate with an elementary teacher to develop units of study.  In a practicum experience, candidates will monitor the progress of students in the unit and design strategies for those who may experience difficulty.  Both on-site teaching will be conducted as well as in-class instruction on methodologies.  Prerequisite:  Admittance to Teacher Education. Corequisites for Elementary and Special Education majors include: SCED 28226 and MATH 17323.
