GEOG 32462 Advanced Cartography and Geovisualization

This advanced course delves into the dynamic world of cartography and geovisualization, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to create compelling and informative maps and visualizations. Building upon foundational cartographic principles, students will explore advanced techniques, tools, and technologies to create maps and interactive geospatial visualizations. Topics include spatial data visualization, 3D cartography, spatio-temporal mapping (dynamic mapping), and open-source mapping techniques.  Prerequisite: GEOG 32365 or permission of instructor.
