GEOG 32455 Applied Geospatial Data Analytics

A course designed to apply various geospatial data analytic techniques to help students to make data-driven decisions in fields such as business, public health, agriculture, urban planning, recreation, and environmental management. Students will learn how to acquire and manage spatial data from various sources, preprocess and analyze the data to identify patterns and visualize the results using modern GIS software tools to solve real-world problems in diverse fields. Prerequisite: GEOG 32365 or permission of the instructor.
