EDCI 62638 Introduction to the Profession: Educational Diagnosticians

In this course, participants consider the impact that historical events have had on the evolution of educational laws, educational regulations, and professional practices. A variety of ethical decision-making models, ethical guidelines, and codes of ethics will be used as a basis for the analysis of contemporary educational issues in our diverse world. The interplay of ethical decision-making and advocacy will serve as the framework for understanding the roles, responsibilities, and promise of the profession of educational diagnosticians.
