MUS 19230 Collaborative Piano Workshop Activity
This course is designed to improve students’ level of musicianship and skills in the art of keyboard collaboration. It will help piano students become well-rounded musicians. Playing the piano collaboratively is an organic and natural part of being a pianist. Students will learn the essential skills they need to become better performance partners. Students learn through collaboration with their fellow students in the vocal and instrumental areas in a class setting with individual coaching. This course is repeatable for new experiences. Prerequisite: permission of instructor or previous enrollment in MUS 19230. Corequisite: MUS 19130 or MUS 19135 or MUS 19137 or MUS 19330 or MUS 19335 or MUS 19337. (F, S)
