MATH 17471 Mathematical Methods for Elementary Teachers

A study of current techniques, this course is designed to acquaint prospective teachers with both the content of elementary school mathematics and the materials available to aid in the teaching, assessment, and evaluation of this content. Activities are incorporated to provide experience with the various methods of teaching mathematics to elementary students. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MATH 17371. (F, S, SS)
