GEOL 27130 Information Technology and Science

Course studying the basics of computer systems and software used at Northwest as well as the professional world. Topics reviewed will include studies of PC-based computer systems, use of the Northwest network system, effective use of Internet resources and common productivity software (such as office programs, suites, e-mail, Web-course) with particular emphasis on applications to science and technology.
