EDUC 61765 Advanced School Law

It is the purpose of this course to prepare educators to consider the advanced legal issues facing schools in a society with almost constant change through the decision of law-making bodies and law-interpreting courts. This course emphasizes the need to acquire the skills, attitudes, motivation, and communication abilities to meet the challenges of central office administration in a world of change. Knowledge of the law and ethics as it relates to public schools and central office will be acquired.
