EDUC 61659 Introduction to Institutional Research

This course will provide an understanding of how various types of research and data can be used in decision making within the university structure and beyond toward higher education advocacy.  Key ideas that will be interconnected within the course are:  qualitative and quantitative data; creation, dissemination, and use of data; research as it relates to academic affairs, student affairs, human resources, financial planning, campus safety, and other structures on campus.
