COM 29621 Conflict Management and Negotiation

Analysis of various theories and current research into the role of communication in conflicts. Studies conflict within interpersonal, group, organizational, and societal contexts.  Emphasis is placed on studying individual communication styles and then developing competence in the management of conflict, especially within a negotiation context. Prerequisite: COM 29610 with a grade of B or higher, or concurrent enrollment.
