A Central Office/Special Education Director - District Level Certificate is in addition to the Masters or Specialist in Educational Leadership K12 or Superintendency at Northwest. The certificate allows students to pursue, in conjunction with the Masters or EdS Educational Leadership K12 or Superintendency courses geared toward central office/Special Education Director. The certificate program is a 12-hour program; per the advisor, additional courses may be needed to gain certification through the state of Missouri. Each student wishing to obtain this additional certificate will have their transcripts audited to determine which classes, if any, may be needed for state licensure should they want to go a step further with the state of Missouri.
