ENGL 10501 Writing and Pedagogy

Covers various topics in the teaching of writing. Possible topics include: misconceptions about writing, contemporary composition theory, genre approaches to composition, transfer of learning, basic writing, service-learning pedagogy, writing assessment, writing across the curriculum, and linguistic diversity in the classroom. Specific subject matter will change each semester. Students may take this course multiple times with a change in topic.
