ENGL 10404 Schoolhouse Grammars and Pedagogy

Examination of traditional schoolhouse grammars as they are indicative of the issues facing students in today’s secondary classrooms. Includes a rigorous study of the literature surrounding the teaching of grammar in K-12 schools and an exploration of effective pedagogical approaches to the teaching of grammars in secondary schools.
