CSIS 44650 Building a Virtual Learning Environment

This course provides an in-depth study of building an online, collaborative learning environment. The focus will be on designing an effective, quality online course for successful eLearning. The course will explore various topics as they relate to online teaching and learning such as: online teaching methods and strategies, student engagement and motivation, differentiated learning, interactive content, authentic assessments, project-based learning, collaborative communication, and course management systems.
