Academic Residence
- At least 30 credit hours of academic work must be done in residence.
- The last 10 credit hours of academic work must be done in residence.
- Not more than one-fourth of the work on any curriculum may be taken by correspondence and/or extension.
- Credit by examination is not considered to be residence credit.
Students must petition the Committee on Academic Petitions for exceptions to the above policies. Petition forms are available in the Office of the Registrar or on the Northwest web page, www.nwmissouri.edu/registrar/.
