EDM 36311 Fire Academy I

This course meets state requirements for Firefighter I and II, First Responder, and Hazardous Material as recognized by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety. This course is organized to provide the student with knowledge and basic skills in firefighting, to respond first at the scene of accident or disaster, and the procedures to follow to provide safety for themselves and the public when confronted with a hazardous situation.  This is part one of a two-semester academy that prepares students for work as firefighters.
