Alumni Association
The Northwest Alumni Association fosters lifelong relationships through initiatives and opportunities that advance the University and its alumni, future alumni and friends. The Alumni Association has three pillars of focus: connect, mentor and promote. Through the connect pillar, the Alumni Association unites alumni and friends through one of the 22 established chapters, in addition to many other engagement and connection activities. The focus of the mentor pillar is to provide opportunities for alumni and students to connect or benefit from each other in a professional setting. The promote pillar focuses on helping the University tell its story.
Partnering with the offices of Career Services and Student Recruiting and the various academic schools and departments, the Northwest Alumni Association coordinates outreach programs for career networking, student recruitment and academic engagement using alumni as volunteer ambassadors. Members of the Northwest Alumni Association receive many benefits including the Northwest Alumni Magazine, insurance opportunities, and the Tourin’ Bearcats travel program. In addition, members receive invitations to numerous events throughout the year. The Office of University Advancement, which coordinates the Northwest Alumni Association, is located in the Michael L. Faust Center for Alumni and Friends at 640 College Avenue.
