NURS 01612 Structures and Processes of a Nurse Executive

The nurse executive needs to understand and manage the financial implications within the healthcare system. This course will focus on reimbursement systems, effective and efficient models of nursing care, and financial policy. Processes for operational and capital budgeting, strategic planning, revenue management, and forecasting will be examined. Includes an experiential learning experience.
