Program Description
The Master’s degree in Business Administration gives students the diverse business background to advance their career in organizations across the evolving global business arena. This program enables students to develop their strengths for leadership as they study real-world business topics through extensive analyses and applications. The relevant curriculum will empower students with a thorough understanding of managerial accounting, managerial economics, financial management, strategic marketing, organizational behavior in administration, and more, enabling students to confidently make business decisions in a leadership position. Northwest's MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
The student who desires a career in the business aspect of agriculture may choose to pursue the MBA with emphasis in Agricultural Economics which is offered in conjunction with the School of Agricultural Sciences. This program is a logical extension for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Business. The MBA-Agricultural Economics emphasis candidate will have two advisors - one from the School of Agricultural Sciences-and one from the School of Business.
