EDUC 61614 Introduction to Teaching

Specifically designed for candidates for the Alternative Certification and Post Bac certification. Provides instruction in the psychology of teaching and in the psychological development of the child/adolescent. Also, offers basic instructional skills for differentiated learning and an opportunity to prepare and practice the instructional techniques to be utilized in the first teaching experience. (A 30-hour field experience will be required for students in the Post Bac program.) (SS)
